Mike Mignola

1960-Present

One of my favorite artists of all time, Mike Mignola has a striking style, every corner filled with shadows, highlighting his wonderful use of shapes and textures. He is best well known as the creator of Hellboy, a comic about the aptly named Hellboy kicking monster butt! Not only that, but he was also the artistic director for Disney's Atlantis! He is still active as of today, he even has an instagram. I've met him at a comic con, I was crying the whole time but he was very nice about it and got a few of my Hellboy comics signed :)
